Year four were challenged to write a descriptive piece of writing using only 100 words. They were then to blog their work and enter in onto the j2bloggy webssite.

Blogging practice.
Just testing out my blogging skills. Hopefully, I will be able to transfer these skills to my Year 3 class.

Slime
Slime dripped through the box where the snails were kept for the day. Max did not know what to do! He stared in disbelief, how did they get so big? He was meant to take them home for the weekend, but now the floor of the bus was cover in slime and everybody was staring at him and the puddle of slime under his feet.
New blog
Blogging – In year 4 we are going to start blogging by first commenting on others blogs and then writing our own class blog about our class trip to Sayers Croft activity centre.

Buckingham Primary
In our school we could use it as a way to encourage children to take part in something bigger than themselves. It would be a good idea for homework across the school (we could even give chn without devices time at lunch to complete it).

100 word challenge
It would be great to see the Year 3s become more confident with blogging!
week 13 100wc
I would use this with my year 3s to share information they had researched online. It would help the children to share ideas for their volcano information leaflets.
week 13 100wc
Well, let’s start this blogging lark and see how it all works! It seems that it may take a while to type one hundred words but maybe as I get going it will be hard to keep it within the limits! I always have this problem, I think of something to say and worry I may not have enough to say but then find I have too much to say! Anyone else have this problem? You see I’m already over three quarters of the way there and not really got to the point of my blog! Or have I?
